top 10 musicals to fall in love with!
i've just watch Mammia mia! and you should all do too!! almost everyone in the cinema knew the lyrics to the songs by ABBA that i was almost sure everyone was going to stand to sing and dance! ( which sadly did not happen)lovin's musicals soooo much that i'm going to blog my top 10 favourite musicals of all time!
how can you not love The Phantom Of The Opera?? i'm willing to spend hundreds just to watch it! the possesiveness of the phantom just makes him drop dead sexy. and who can resist the songs???
'Diamonds are a girl's best friend!' show girls and money for sex. i just love old london where caberet girls are the stars of the city. the addition of forbidden love of the social hierarchy makes this musical one of my all time favourites!
i know this is a very old musicals but how can one just not love the classics? and besides, i grew up watching and singing to 'getting to know you', 'i am 16 going on 17' and 'the hills are alive... with the sound of music..' and eating macaroni.

so what if you hate musicals? Pierce brosnan will give you 2 reasons just to watch it.
1) he's smokin' hot
2) his singing is hilarious.
mr horny kept commenting that he sings like a russian.
i'm so going to get the OST.
darkest musical ever!! johnny depp was so good that i forgotten he had turned from drunk swaggering pirate to callous cold-blooded barber. love the unexpected twist in the end that it reminds me of the compositions i used to write back in secondary school.
Good morning Baltimore~~!! this movie is colourful enough teaming up with catching tunes and john trovolta, who can get enough of this??
another musical i grew up with. shows the egoistic side of the typical man and that summer love can also mean everlasting.
very sad and yet great musical. another classic whose title many singaporeans do not know how to pronounce, meaning 'the miserable people/ poor people', portrays the great love of a father who comes in the form of an ex-convict still on the run but doing good deeds for the greater part of his life due to the compassion a man showed him. sadly, the movie hardly features any music from the original musical.
Disney movies get me high!!! although zac and vanessa looks cute together, i still love ashley tisdale and her bimbotic-ness. remember to catch High School Musical 3!!
last but not least, Dream girls. although it was to me another typical-dream-come-true-by-sleeping-with-producer movie, it was good that it shows that although you have the talent, it does not mean you will make it into showbiz girl. not even if you sleep with the producer and bore him a daughter.
